Hey, I’m Ruan
I am a dreamer by heart and storyteller by profession. My love for capturing memories started way back when I was only 8 years old and picked up my mother’s camera at a family gathering. Since then, I have been in constant pursuit of capturing other people’s stories and helping them relive their most special days. My heart is to capture a moment in its purest way possible, and help others see the heart behind each photo and video. I am both a photographer as well as filmmaker.

It’s about what it makes you feel when you watch it..
For me, capturing moments is more about what you feel when you watch it afterwards than anything else. My work is deeply connected to emotion and portraying a specific moment as it unfolded. This is also why my approach in capture is more documentary style than editorial, meaning the way that I capture will keep the integrity of a moment intact before I even begin to worry about aesthetics.
